Infinity Pharmaceuticals (Infinity) is an emerging biotech company focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of small molecule therapeutics for cancer, inflammatory conditions and pain. Its lead product candidate includes IPI-926, a small molecule that inhibits Smoothened (Smo), a key component of the Hedgehog pathway. Smo inhibition represents a significant anti-cancer opportunity for addressing a number of difficult-to-treat cancers by disrupting malignant activation of the pathway.

The company is also developing IPI-504 (retaspimycin hydrochloride), an intravenously-administered small molecule inhibitor of heat shock protein 90 (Hsp90) is being investigated for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patient subpopulations with especially poor prognoses and extremely limited treatment options.
